This psychoeducation-based group is for parents and caregivers of youth (all ages) with difficulty regulating mood and behaviors and/or related relationship challenges. Parents and caregivers will be taught various Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills for distress tolerance, mindfulness, emotion regulation and effective communication.
Parents and caregivers will also have a safe space to process challenges and celebrate successes.
Facilitated by Michelle Altman, LSW
, who for more than five years, has specialized in pediatric mental health, working with families to address concerns such as anxiety, stress management, depression, and emotion dysregulation.
