Accessibility Statement

Since 1902, tens of thousands of amazing kids and families have been positively impacted by their experiences at The Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh. We pride ourselves on being an amazing place where everyone is welcomed, accepted, and included.

This experience extends to our website. The Children’s Institute has taken steps to further enhance the accessibility of our website and has developed amazingkids.org to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These globally recognized best practices, as recommended by the World Wide Web Consortium, consist of three levels of accessibility measurement (A, AA, and AAA). To the greatest extent feasible, The Children’s Institute has conformed to Level AA of these guidelines, with ongoing efforts to ensure our website is accessible for all. We aim to create a positive user experience, regardless of the assistive technology being used to access this site or the specific abilities of individuals seeking access to this site.

If you experience challenges using or accessing any element of this website or if you have any feedback, please contact us. We will make all reasonable efforts to correct the issue and assist with immediate needs.

We thank you, as part of our community, for your feedback and support. Amazing things happen when we come together to create a culture that is kind, accessible, and inclusive.
