Even though the COVID-19 pandemic forced The Children's Institute of Pittsburgh to halt in-person appointments for some time as a safety and health precaution to protect kids, families, and team members, patients like Sienna were able to continue therapies via telehealth offerings.
 

The Children's Institute has done so much for us. I had a feeling that they might be our lifeline and they have been...they really have," said Shannon Striner, mom to 3-year-old Sienna who receives outpatient therapies at The Children's Institute four times per week.
