This year’s Hope for the Holidays gift drive made a meaningful impact for families across Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Washington, and Westmoreland counties. It’s all thanks to the generosity of our community.
The program supports families facing challenges, many who must prioritize basic needs over holiday celebrations.
Thousands of gifts were collected in the last few weeks which will help make holiday wishes come true for 317 individuals this year.
Behind the scenes, our staff and team members worked tirelessly to coordinate every detail of the effort. They spent long days and weekends receiving donating gifts, carefully labeling and organizing them by county, and loading vehicles to ensure each items made it safely to the appropriate service region. Their commitment helped turn community generosity into real, tangible support for families.
Hope for the Holidays has been a tradition at our organization since 2008. Over the past 16 years, we estimate the gift drive has serve roughly 7,500 individuals.
We are grateful to our supporters, volunteers, and team members whose collective efforts ensured that hundreds of children and families in our community feel the magic of the holiday season.
