Assist a certified special education teacher in a team approach to serve children and work as part of an educational team. Participate in planning meetings regarding classroom expectations and student needs across all developmental areas.

Multiple Disabilities Support Classroom Teacher Aides assist students in meeting goals in regards to activities of daily living, such as feeding, toileting, and community-based instruction as appropriate, relative to skill development.

Autism Support Classroom Teacher Aides initiate and follow through with behavioral interventions and facilitate the teaching procedures for small groups, including errorless learning and verbal behavior techniques.

1:1 Aides work with an individual student and provide support, while following a behavior support plan and working cooperatively with the teacher and other team members.

Behavior and Instruction Technicians use function-based ABA interventions and positive reinforcement to effect positive change in student behaviors. They collect data, teach strategies and follow protocols for improving students' learning outcomes related to their educational goals under the direction of a certified special education teacher and behavior specialist.

Your Qualifications
Successful candidates will possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Associate or bachelors degree in education, psychology, and/or child development preferred. Previous experience working with children desired, specifically children with Autism and/or Multiple Disabilities. Behavior and Instruction Technician requires additional training and experience.
