Pirates’ Wins Raise $40K for The Children’s Institute

The Pittsburgh Pirates and Pirates Charities brought smiles to many faces when they stopped at The Children’s Institute on the team's annual winter CARE-a-van tour. Pirates’ manager and MLB National League Manager of the Year Clint Hurdle presented The Children’s Institute with a check for $40,000. This generous donation was made possible as a result of the Pirates’ “Wins for Kids” program.

Additional attendees from the Pirates included Chairman Bob Nutting and President Frank Coonelly.
