Patient Holds Fundraiser to Raise Awareness for RND

Molly Czaikowski, 17, is living with Reflex Neurovascular Dystrophy (RND) and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). Following her diagnosis of RND two years ago, Molly arrived at The Children’s Institute in a wheelchair to participate in our inpatient Pain Rehabilitation Program. Within two weeks of intensive therapy and care, Molly was walking again.

In an effort to show her support and gratitude to the organizations that helped her, she planned a fundraiser. This past November, Carnegie Presbyterian Church hosted “Molly’s Ray of Hope,” which raised nearly $1,500 for The Children’s Institute and Dysautonomia International.
