Innovative Therapy Program helps Young Boy with Cerebral Palsy

CBS Pittsburgh's evening news featured an inspirational story about a young boy with cerebral palsy and the success he has found with an innovative therapy program at our Wexford satellite.

4-year-old Emerson has been coming to The Children's Institute for therapy for three years. At the start of his recent participation in our three week Intensity Program, Emerson could walk only three feet with the assistance of his crutches. His family and therapists set a goal for him to walk 20 feet by the end of the program. Two-and-a-half weeks in, Emerson was walking 60 feet. Watch the entire story by follow the link below!
