The Children's Institute of Pittsburgh is a resource upon which families from western Pennsylvania and beyond have depended, and the community's generosity has supported, since
1902. In fiscal year 2011, we served 5,400 children who required comprehensive, coordinated services to address complex and challenging medical conditions. An independent, nonprofit, licensed organization, The Children's Institute is dedicated to promoting the well-being of children, young people and their families and to providing services that meet their special needs.
The unique, comprehensive approach of The Children's Institute - hospital, school, adoption service - sets the organization apart from others in the region. Unlike other institutions, our organizational structure makes it possible for patients, students and families to be in the care of a true team that is wholly committed to improving the quality of life for children with special needs.
These funding priorities identify the emerging needs for which we seek support so The Children's Institute will be able to continue to transform the lives of the children we serve - today and for generations to come.
Please consider how you can help support The Children's Institute's unique value to our community through an amazing contribution.
