The Day School students collect Pennies for Peace

Students of The Day School at The Children's Institute collected 78,300 pennies for the Pennies for Peace Program. The program, developed by Greg Mortenson following his book Three Cups of Tea, has been adopted into the curriculum for the 2009-2010 school year and focuses on educating the students about world cultures, working together and giving back.
