Technology Brings International Students to The Da

The Day School at The Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh and Carlow University have bridged the oceanic gap and connected our students to students in Northern Ireland with similar special needs. Called the Foyle View Project after the school in Derry, Northern Ireland, students exchange letters, e-mails, pictures and stories over the internet as well as talk and see each other over teleconferencing equipment. This project has been a great way to bring the world to our students and a chance for them to talk to peers in another country.
