Bright Spot on Shady Community Event
Friday, Nov 18, 2011
Since opening our doors in November of 1902, The Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh has been a bright spot of hope and healing for the children and families we serve. To honor our founders, we’re holding an amazing light up event in our newest shining star – The Nimick Family Therapeutic Garden.
Please join us for this FREE family-friendly event!
The evening will feature live music by the Jazz Ensemble from The Hillman Center for the Performing Arts at Shady Side Academy, Kelsey Friday and the Rest of the Week and Bill Deasy. Other entertainment includes face painting, juggling and magic!
Enjoy sweet snacks and hot chocolate or cider as you get the first look at our seasonal lighting display in the garden.
