Women for a Healthy Environment Workshop
This workshop will focus on recycling and the issues of toxins that one comes into contact with on a daily basis, and how these toxins can affect human health. Practical solutions to help people avoid exposure to toxins such as safe product alternatives will be covered.
Participants also will:
- learn about reuse strategies that can be incorporated into your home and commercial remodeling projects.
- see which electronic products contain materials that have an adverse impact on the environment.
- be able to bring their alkaline batteries, cell phones and inkjet/laser jet cartridges for proper disposal and recycling.
Light refreshments will be served and parking is reduced to $3.
