Must be available 8am - 5 pm weekdays.  Must be available to work in two ormore locations, including inpatient and 4 outpatient sites. 

JOB SUMMARY: 

The certified occupational therapy assistant works under the supervision of an occupational therapist to assist with the assessments and provide patient treatment programs and family/staff training.  The certified occupational therapy assistant provides services to infants, children, adolescents and young adults following the guidelines of the departmental scope of services.

JOB RELATIONSHIPS:

RESPONSIBLE TO: Supervisor or Coordinator of Occupational Therapy

WORKERS SUPERVISED: Therapy Aides, PHEAA Students, and Volunteers

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:  Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Must be certified and licensed or eligible for certification and licensure in Pennsylvania. Successful completion of a pediatric affiliation or previous experience with a pediatric population is preferred.
