JOB SUMMARY:

The Occupational Therapist provides comprehensive Occupational therapy services to students, and participates as a related service in delivering an educational program aimed at allowing each student to attain his or her maximum functional potential.  He or she works with other staff members as an integral part of a professional team to provide an appropriate educational program for each student.

JOB RELATIONSHIPS:

 
 Responsible to:
 Educational Supervisor, Associate Director of the Day School, Director of the Day School (in that order).

 Workers Supervised: Occupational Therapy Aide, volunteers 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: BS, MS, certificate, MPT, or DPT from an accredited Occupational Therapy Department.  Current and valid certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.

Training and Experience:  Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania; Successful completion of a pediatric affiliation or previous experience with a pediatric population is preferred.
