JOB SUMMARY:

Part-time position with late afternoon and/or early evening hours preferably 3-7 pm Mon-Thurs.  Any availability will be considered.  Positions available at various sites.

The Speech-Language Pathologist provides comprehensive assessment and intervention services for The Children's Institute infant, pediatric, adolescent and adult inpatients and outpatients; participates in interdisciplinary treatment programs; collaborates and consults with others to facilitate the delivery of those services; administers those procedures necessary to process patient services; participates in training activities for family members, Nursing Department staff, and other professionals.

JOB RELATIONSHIPS:

RESPONSIBLE TO: The Director of Speech-Language Therapy Department and SLT Program Supervisors

WORKERS SUPERVISED: Volunteers and Students, as assigned by The Clinical Internship Liaison.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:   A Master's Degree from an approved college or university in the field of Speech-Language Pathology is required.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one year of clinical experience, Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language pathology (CCC-SLP), and PA license are required.
