JOB SUMMARY:

Late afternoon and/or early evening hours available preferably 3-7 pm Mon-Thurs.  Positions available at various sites.

The physical therapist assists the patient in reaching his or her maximum functional potential through evaluation, provision of treatment programs and family/staff training.  The physical therapist provides services to infants, children, adolescents and young adults following the guidelines of the departmental scope of services.

JOB RELATIONSHIPS:

RESPONSIBLE TO:  Supervisor or Coordinator of Physical Therapy

WORKERS SUPERVISED:  Physical therapy assistants, therapy aides, PHEAA Students, and volunteers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:    BS, MS, certificate, MPT, or DPT from an accredited Physical Therapy Department

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:  Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania; Successful completion of a pediatric affiliation or previous experience with a pediatric population is preferred.
