Researchers Seeking Healthy Children for Control Group

Friday, Aug 12, 2011

The Children's Institute is conducting a Red Blood Cell Study. For this study, we are looking for the final group of healthy control children to match (by sex, age and family income) our children with autism who have completed the study.

We need your help!

We are currently in need of six and nine year-old males and an eight year-old female in this final group of matching controls. They must be medically healthy and without a family history of autism.

This study will provide us with important information regarding chemical and heavy metal blood levels when comparing the two groups of children. The results will be reviewed with each control family.
