Improving Quality of Care

Improving Quality of Patient Care                   $1,250,000

The pediatric population treated today at The Children's Institute is drastically different than the children we cared for just two decades ago. Driven by the higher acuity levels and medical complexity of our kids, we are constantly re-evaluating our focus and services to meet the emerging needs of these children.

The organization continues to enhance its facility and increase its equipment inventory in order to maintain a safe, medically advanced rehabilitative environment. This will allow us to continue to provide the highest quality of service delivery possible to treat the diverse special needs of our patients. Planned improvements of a timely nature include

  • Prader-Willi syndrome inpatient program expansion.....$500,000
  • Purchasing state-of-the-art rehab equipment..................$250,000
  • Telemedicine technology implementation........................$500,000
