A member of the leadership team since August 2012, Chief Nursing Officer Beverly Farinelli is responsible for the integration, coordination and direction of Nursing, Patient Care and Program Case Management within the overall operation of The Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh. Specifically, she directs these functions to ensure the delivery of high-quality health care consistent with the mission, vision and values of the organization.

Ms. Farinelli also ensures The Children’s Institute’s success in maintaining and improving all aspects of a quality patient care delivery system, including the creation of a nursing environment in which collaboration is valued and excellence in clinical care and education is promoted and achieved.

Previously, Ms. Farinelli held leadership positions at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and Children’s National Medical Center in Washington D.C. She holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wright State University.
