Patricia Saunders-Madison, PhD

With experience in health care, education and other non-profit environments, Dr. Saunders-Madison oversees all permanency planning services, including adoption and foster care, which are offered by the organization.
Prior to her appointment as executive director, Dr. Saunders-Madison was program supervisor of Wilkinsburg School District, Wilkinsburg System of Care — Community Connections for Families and Partnerships for Youth Transition. She also has held positions at the Pittsburgh Pastoral Institute, Pressley Ridge Schools and Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic. Dr. Saunders-Madison has acted as a professional consultant to numerous local organizations and has provided individual, group, family and couples counseling and guidance for diverse and at-risk populations. In addition, she created and worked in her own private practice for 13 years, and has consulted on both the local and national levels.
Having earned her Doctorate in Counselor Education, Dr. Saunders-Madison is certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors and is a certified Elementary/Secondary School Counselor.
