With experience in health care, education and other non-profit environments, Dr. Saunders-Madison oversees all permanency planning services, including adoption and foster care, which are offered by the organization.
Prior to her appointment as director, Dr. Saunders-Madison was most recently program supervisor of Wilkinsburg School District, Wilkinsburg System of Care — Community Connections for Families and Partnerships for Youth Transition. She also has held positions at the Pittsburgh Pastoral Institute, Pressley Ridge Schools and Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic. Dr. Saunders-Madison has acted as a professional consultant to numerous local organizations and has provided individual, group, family and couples counseling and guidance for diverse and at-risk populations.
Having earned her PhD in Counselor Education, Dr. Saunders-Madison is certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors and is a certified Elementary/Secondary School Counselor.
