Waiting Children

At Project STAR we believe children shine brightest in families. Whether the goal is adoption or reunification with birth families, we do everything possible to place children with safe, nurturing, forever families. These children are just a few of the many who are waiting for a home to call their own.

Alex is a 15 year old who is fascinated with computers and electrical engineering. His current foster family is hoping to enroll Alex in some type of computer or electronic courses so that he can expand upon his passion.  He can be shy and reserved at the first meeting but opens up quickly and enjoys commanding a conversation.

When the weather is nice Alex enjoys swimming and riding his bicycle. He enjoys learning new sports and playing catch. He likes sledding in the winter time and would like to learn to snowboard. All families will be considered for Alex. He is legally free for adoption.

Sarah likes having contact with her grandmother and would like to continue this after she is placed with a family. Sarah would very much like to find her forever family. All families will be considered, and she is legally free for adoption.
