May we help you and your child?
The Day School at The Children’s Institute can provide every student we enroll with the special assistance and services he or she needs to thrive and succeed. Each year, nearly 200 children from more than 60 school districts attend our school.
Long regarded as a national leader in the education of children with disabilities, The Day School is the first school in Pennsylvania to be accredited by the National Commission for the Accreditation of Special Education Services (NCASES).
Once a referral is received and a student is accepted, The Day School’s transdisciplinary team of teachers, therapists and paraprofessionals works with each student and his family to determine personalized learning goals based on his strengths and needs.
In our school, families find a staff that believes in a collaborative, team-based approach to education that includes students, parents and school districts. Every staff member is skilled, qualified and committed to serving our students and all members of the classroom teams are trained to help students achieve their specific cognitive, motor, social and life skills goals.
