Commitment To Quality

All of us in The Day School share a strong commitment to quality. On an ongoing basis, we explore new methods and materials, encourage “best practices” in all areas of the school and make certain that our staff has opportunities to maintain and improve their skills.
The Day School contributes to The Children’s Institute’s mission by dedicating itself to advanced instructional strategies, techniques and materials. A student’s experience is further enhanced by skilled, energized staff, a clean, modern facility and an involved, supportive school community with a positive attitude toward learning and life.
- Collaborative teams make decisions that reflect the best interests of our students and our school community.
- We teach using multiple strategies for successful development.
- We value each member’s contribution to The Day School community.
- We maintain a positive environment that recognizes and respects the various cultural, intellectual, physical and social differences among members of The Day School community
Each year, we send our families a parent satisfaction survey. During the 2006–2007 school year, over 98 percent of the families who responded to the survey rated The Day School at The Children’s Institute either “Good” or “Excellent.”
Every four years, our school is re-evaluated and re-accredited by the National Commission for the Accreditation of Special Education Services (NCASES).
