Helping kids stay on the right track
After a child with a neurological condition or injury leaves our care, we want them to continue making progress—physically, mentally and socially. One of the best ways to do that is to stay healthy and active through an exercise program.
The Wellness Program provides the expertise and facilities you need.
Through this program, our patients receive an evaluation from either a physical or occupational therapist, who will create an individualized program designed to help regain lost motor function and create healthy brain activity. With the help of a parent, caregiver and an onsite supervising staff member, the patient works out in an accessible and friendly environment.
At our diagnosis-friendly facility, patients have access to a multitude of wheelchair-accessible fitness machines and therapeutic equipment such as:
- Restorative Therapy, RT 300, Functional Electrical Simulation Bike
- Upper Body Exerciser
- Easy Stand Evolv Glider
- Recreational Hand Cycles
- Precor Functional Trainer
- Recumbant Stepper
- Medicine Balls
- Cuff and hand weights.
