Amazing Bike Camp
The Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh and iCanShine, Inc. (formerly Lose the Training Wheels) partner each summer to offer a unique camp that teaches children with special needs how to ride a two-wheeled bicycle without training wheels.
During this week long camp, children use adaptive bicycles to gain understanding and confidence in riding.
As each camper progresses, modifications are made to the bicycles; increasing their level of independence. The Amazing Bike Camp is recommended for children ages 8 years and older.
