When it comes to pediatric rehabilitation, experience makes an amazing difference

There simply is no place like The Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh. As the only CARF-accredited freestanding pediatric specialty rehabilitation hospital in Pennsylvania, and one of only 5 in the nation, we are the region’s most comprehensive provider of care to children with special and orthopedic needs. Our approach to pediatric rehabilitation relies on a partnership between patients, their families, and our highly skilled team of physicians, therapists, nurses and social workers.

Our Hospital is committed to providing high quality, effective medical and therapy services for children and adolescents, Last year, we cared for 321 inpatients and had 68,969 outpatient visits. We continually advance our treatment methods—by using new techniques, as well as new technology—to produce better therapeutic interventions for children.
